As a non-profit organization registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, FOSMA focuses on developing, promoting, and protecting the interests of its members. The association fosters collaboration and unity among representatives while addressing common concerns with relevant authorities. Recognizing the importance of seafarer education and training, FOSMA has established the FOSMA Maritime Institute and Research Organisation, ensuring that its members contribute to the competence and professional development of their workforce.
