Foster + Heart is a 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization based in the Treasure Valley of Idaho. We operate a home for children in transition to foster care + host engaging events that benefit the foster care community.
Mimi’s House, Foster + Heart’s first home, was founded by our CEO, Kate Wilson, after seeing an immediate need in the foster care system.
This home was created for children to go to for up to 14 days before they are placed with a foster family. It allows for sibling sets to stay together and gives the Department of Health and Welfare time to find children not just the first home, but the right home.
Upon entering our doors, children are met with empathetic, highly-trained employees and a personal social worker who all assist in easing the children into foster care.
