Foster Parent Information Network

FPIN is a crowdsourced information-sharing website; the single bank for accurate and thorough child welfare knowledge in Illinois. This site can be a resource for all actors in the child welfare system, including case workers, guardian ad litems, service providers, policy professionals, biological parents and others. FPIN allows for foster parents and other child welfare professionals to achieve an understanding of the system and their place in it. This is a platform where foster child caregivers can easily access accurate information so they are able to care for children who have been removed from their family of origin and are awaiting reunification or permanency. FPIN is a project of My Foster Parent Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
