Born in the southern part of Sweden. Grew up in the middle part. Constantly moving between careers, towns, never quite sure what he wanted in life. All transitions, all changes, and all chooses happened mainly out of pure accident. Starting off by founding the radio station that was second to challenge the commercial ban on Swedish radio, then joining the Army, serving in Bosnia, moved over to the Swedish fighter programme JAS39, then followed by the challenges of the Ericsson 3G development programme in various roles.
Finally his lust for photography became to big. He founded his own company, Fotograf Robert Milovan in 2008 and now he works on assignment as a freelance photographer or as he would put it 'gun-for-hire'. As an photographer his published work range from adverts, fashion, feature articles, poster work to catalogue. He is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
When he is behind the camera there is an essence of authority that makes you feel self-assured and comfortable. The photographs are often documentary in style. Close to the subjects, sharing real experiences with the people being photographed, and favoring the spontaneity of the moment. The ability to capture the viewer's attention shows in all his work.
