FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT(FED)

Foundation for Education and Development (FED) is an innovative, indigenous non-governmental NGO registered under the non-government Act as a non-government organization with the registration as a community-based organization to administer orphans and other vulnerable children. Its head office is in Jinja town, Jinja District. Founded in 2003, FED aims at providing education to the needy and disadvantaged children with great emphasis on girl child by sponsoring them with school fees and improving their social economic welfare and that of the communities.
