Improve the quality of life and help ensure the continuity of the United States by facilitating sustainable communities and resilient critical infrastructures, fortified against threats and meeting the needs of the 21st century. Goals: 1. Collaborate, educate, and promote awareness of critical infrastructure, resilient community requirements, and advocate mitigation approaches to related threats and risks. 2. Identify new or disruptive technologies and methodologies, tactics and procedures that could significantly improve the United States’ communities and critical infrastructure. 3. Provide assessment of current and emerging strategic issues and threats, scenarios involving long-term disruption or cessation of critical infrastructure, workforce dependencies, and cascading consequences. 4. Advance the sustainability and resilience of critical infrastructure such that they enhance local communities and withstand existential threats postured against them.
