Founders Ventures is super excited to be building digital companies that can turn into unicorns! Founders Ventures is a startup lab, pre-accelerator fund, and accelerator that is located in Fort Lauderdale/Miami, FL. Founders Ventures invests in consumer/internet technology startups that have billion dollar plus addressable markets & engineer-oriented teams. We are a bit different in that we invest at the earliest stages of the startup and actually participate in the building of the startup. The typical stages of early stage investing are as follows: 1. Case for value perpetuity & financial perpetuity & platform architecture 2. MVP (Minimum viable product) of platform 3. Value Perpetuity 4. Financial Perpetuity 5. Growing Financial Perpetuity Founders Ventures invests at the first stage while accelerators, angels, and typical VCs invest at stages 3, 4, and 5 respectively. At Founders Ventures, we are often asked, "How to build a billion-dollar startup?". We gave it some thought and used our own investment mandate to create a methodology for doing so which we call the Unicorn Methodology. The Unicorn Methodology is the following: 1.
