About Foundwork
Foundwork is a 501(c)3 charitable organization whose mission is to support greater access and recognition for contemporary artists of all backgrounds. We provide a platform where emerging and mid-career artists can share their work with curators, gallerists, and other prospective collaborators across the global contemporary art community. We also host ongoing programs, including our annual Foundwork Artist Prize, to encourage interest and engagement for participating artists. Foundwork started in New York in 2017 and relocated to Los Angeles in 2021.
