Four Star Seafood is a culinary inspired start-up on a mission to provide chefs (both in restaurants and at home) with better access to the freshest, straight from the boat seafood and farm-to-fork products. We bring the dock (or the farm) directly to you.
Founded by two chefs who took a risk and left their kitchen jobs to challenge the seafood industry, the driving force behind our company is simple: reduce the time it takes for seafood to travel from the water to the restaurant (and now from the water to your front door). This opportunity to connect the source with the end user is the win-win concept that we’ve expanded upon to become what we are today: a chef-curated seafood and specialty food wholesale marketplace, with a strong D2C e-commerce grocery delivery side.
We deliver the freshest product possible by fostering relationships with local fisherman and farmers who are prized for their sustainable practices. By first and foremost prioritizing the development of these strong support systems with all of our vendors, we are able to offer truly exceptional seafood, meat, produce, dry goods and other specialty items to our restaurant and grocery retail customers with convenience, and at cost-effective prices.
Four Star is based in San Francisco with strong local ties and a deep sense of community. This mindset remains at the core of everything we do, even as we continue to expand and cultivate our presence nationwide (and beyond)!
