Four Star Group is an integrated textile conglomerate, comprising various entities engaged in activities ranging from fibre to fabric.
Four Star International Limited (FSIL) is the flagship company in the Group while Four Star International (FSI - a partnership firm) is the oldest entity in the Group. FSIL is engaged in primarily knitting,dyeing (yarn & fabric dyeing) printing, processing and finishing as well as trading of raw cotton, fabric and allied products. The Company also exports its products to Bangladesh, where the Group is having long standing relations.
FSI is engaged in weaving (it has installed India’s one of the most modern Airjet Power Loom facilities) and trading/ exports of textile and allied products. The firm is manufacturing and supplying school uniforms to school students upto class VIII of West Bengal, as well as manufacturing and supplying salwar kameez, dupatta and sarees to ASHA and CHA workers. The uniforms, sarees, salwar, kameez and dupatta are procured by the Govt. of West Bengal and both FSI and FSIL are a part of a handful of entities who are engaged in this activity.
Apart from FSIL and FSI, the Group also has Vishnu Cotton Mills Limited (VCML), Gold Star Cottex Limited (GCL), Exim Overseas Private Limited (EOPL) and a few other entities. VCML was acquired by Four Star Group in 2013 to complete the backward integration process. It has spinning and fabric dyeing units. The company also exports its products as well as undertakes trading activities of textiles and allied products.
The group is having Five State Of the Art (ISO certified) manufacturing facilities located in and around Kolkata.
FSIL, FSI, GCL and EOPL - all are Star Rated Export Houses.
The Group has business relations with the likes of Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group, Arvind Mills, Lux, Rupa, Amul, Dollar, Jockey etc. for more than two decades. The Group has created a name for itself in the market.
