Congressional Free Market Caucus

The Parliamentary Front for the Free Market is a cross-party coalition formed by 187 Federal Deputies and 28 Senators, united by their commitment to promoting a solid, competitive, and innovative market economy in Brazil. Its objective in the National Congress is to bring together parliamentarians who advocate for the principles of free competition, economic freedom, and consumer freedom, driving a political agenda aimed at making Brazil more favorable to entrepreneurship. The Freedom Caucus believes that fewer government interventions and regulatory barriers, combined with fostering competition, are the main drivers of innovation, efficiency, and social well-being. In partnership with the Free Market Institute – the largest non-profit organization dedicated to defending economic freedom in Brazil – the Front operates across various branches of government, including the National Congress, Ministries, Regulatory Agencies, and the Judiciary. Together, these entities develop and promote a robust agenda focused on modernizing the regulatory and legislative environment, strengthening the foundations of a freer and more dynamic economy.
