Frameworkhealth is an education company based in Newry, Northern Ireland offering bespoke training courses translating an aviation Safety Management System predominantly to healthcare. We focus on managing Error which is inevitable in any human endeavour but causes huge repercussions in the form of Adverse Events.
Our team is led by Niall Downey, a full-time long haul pilot with a well known Irish airline. Prior to his flying career, Niall was a trainee Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon, qualifying from Trinity College, Dublin in 1993 and achieving his FRCSI in 1997. He has accumulated 35 years of experience between aviation and healthcare. He is a well known speaker at conferences throughout Ireland and the UK and has spoken at international events as far afield as Copenhagen, Lisbon and Chicago.
He is helped by an experienced team of trainers drawn from a hugely experienced pool of Training Captains, Type Rating Instructors, Line Standards Captains, Cabin Crew Instructors and Line Standards Checkers.
