Hi, it's Lucio and Francesco here. We were tired of fragile sunglasses with cheap or low-quality features and we decided to tackle the problem from the source. And so, Francis Pike found its calling: re-think the modern sunglasses. One night, our friend’s glasses broke at the hinge. His attempts to fix them were short-lived and, not to mention, very frustrating because they weren’t cheap. We couldn’t stop thinking about it and, over the coming days, we started brainstorming to help him out. That’s when we realized that he was not the only one; it has happened to us, family members, as well as other friends: it was time to address this issue once and for all! Hinges loosen up, temple bars bend and frames break too easily, too often. Even more expensive and resistant frames have this same weakness: the hinge. And that’s what we focused on. Our objective is to offer a durable pair of sunglasses, excellent in every aspect. No compromises.
