Franck Scala is a french sculptor and designer based in Lyon, whose practice oscillates between art and collectible design through the creation of sculptures and art furniture. His work is driven by the observation of, and fascination with, natural phenomena (erosion, sedimentation, and concretion...), the impact of the elements on matter, and a certain beauty found in randomness. This obsession manifests in singular and timeless creations, featuring organic or geometric forms, textured with reliefs and irregularities. Each piece, balancing technical mastery and aesthetic harmony, offers a poetic and sensory vision of the mineral and organic worlds.
Since founding his studio in 2022, his work has been exhibited and distributed in various galleries and contemporary art fairs in France and abroad. He has also created bespoke commissions for prestigious interior design projects, collaborating with renowned decorators such as Damien Langlois Meurinne (AD 100). His creations have garnered media attention, with features in Marie Claire Maison, Figaro Magazine, La Tribune de Lyon, and TV interviews on France 3 Régions.
