Fratelli Carlessi

Fratelli Carlessi started trading as a mechanical engineering company in 1925, and in 1953 the decision was taken to specialise in the manufacture of plant machinery for tanneries. Since then Fratelli Carlessi has expanded its product range and now produces machinery for leather drying, conditioning and finishing. Fratelli Carlessi’s immense manufacturing experience and drive for innovation has seen it become the market leader in tannery equipment. Recognised and used across the globe, Fratelli Carlessi has installed thousands of machines in over 90 countries. In 2009 Fratelli Carlessi became a division of Erretre, cementing a partnership that began in the 1970s, where both companies worked together to develop new technologies in leather finishing. The merging of the two companies created a unique opportunity to integrate the best of their technologies together, to update the entire Fratelli Carlessi product range. This has allowed us to push forward in developing innovative ground-breaking machinery for tanneries.
