Free Space ensures safety and security in the space domain for government and commercial space operators through the rapid deployment of responsive defensive satellites and on-orbit space domain awareness (SDA) capabilities. Founded in 2022, Free Space Inc. was acquired by SCOUT Space, Inc. in 2023. Gil Valdes, previously the Chief Executive Officer of Free Space, took on the role of Vice President of Government Programs at SCOUT. Vin Bisceglia, previously the Executive Chairman of Free Space, took on the role of Vice President of Growth at SCOUT. Following the transaction, Mr. Valdes stated, “Free Space is thrilled to join forces with SCOUT in this mission to deliver groundbreaking space domain awareness and security solutions for government and commercial space operators.
