The Dr. Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research Into Extraterrestrial and Extraordinary Encounters (FREE) was co-founded in 2016 by astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Dr. Rudy Schild, Mary Rodwell, and Reiniero Hernandez.
FREE is a scientific organization focused on consciousness and contact experiences. In addition to our founders, we also collaborate with nearly a dozen Ph.D level professors, scientists, neuro-scientists, and researchers.
FREE was formally incorporated as a not for profit academic research institute on July 15, 2015 by various retired Ph.D. Physicists, Ph.D. Scientists, Ph.D. Psychologists, Ph.D. Neuroscientists and lay researchers. FREE is a focused on researching “WHAT IS CONSCIOUSNESS” by undertaking cross comparative research on individuals that are having various types of “Contact with Non-Human Intelligence”.
