Freelance Education

Freelance education services (e.g., teaching and tutoring) in English and Spanish for families, programs, and schools in the San Fernando Valley and Greater Los Angeles area. Over 10 years of experience in education applied to best serve diverse K-16 students in general and special education (e.g., traditional K-12 students; students with special needs like autism, ADHD, and learning differences; and foster youth). Experience inclusive of teaching and tutoring for educational programs such as GEAR UP, VOALA Upward Bound, and Los Angeles County Office Education (LACOE) Foster Youth Services. Recently extended outreach, working with K-12 students in seven states: Los Angeles Unified School District (Los Angeles, CA), Chicago Public Schools (Chicago, IL), Houston Independent School District (Houston, TX), Prince George’s County Public Schools (Upper Marlboro, MD), Austin Independent School District (Austin, TX), Elizabeth Public Schools (Elizabeth, NJ), Hartford Public Schools (Hartford, CT), and William S. Hart Union High School District (Santa Clarita, CA).
