Founded in 2001, Freestone Partners is a Houston-based private equity firm that seeks to invest in and support middle market businesses. We have successfully acquired and exited many companies in our history. While we are not operators, we come from backgrounds that connect investing to middle market business management and ownership. We work in partnership with experienced management teams to execute growth strategies.

Financial Characteristics: Track record of profitability and revenue growth, Revenue greater than $10 million for platform investments, EBITDA of $2 million to $7 million with healthy margins
Investment Focus: Manufacturing, Value-Added Distribution, Industrial Services, Environmental Services, Business Services, Transportation, and other industry niches with experienced management. Freestone does not invest in real estate development, natural resources, early stage companies, retail or advanced technology.
Our transactions provide liquidity for generational wealth transfers, family office dispositions, private equity firms, and corporate divestitures. We have a preference for transactions where the sellers and/or management team desire to remain invested after Freestone acquires control. We also support growth capital needs.
