Building upon this success, the new products have been designed to address associated problems of rising damp, as well as enabling the quick reinstatement of wall finishes. The Freezteq Solution For those structures that are subject to rising damp there will often be associated problems that need to be addressed. Stopping the rising damp is only part of the solution. Latent moisture will remain in the structure above the damp proof course treatment line. To allow the wall to dry out naturally can take a significant amount of time. This can be hugely limiting on when the wall finishes can be reinstated, and the rooms made habitable again. In addition to this, there are often salts that have been drawn up the wall with the rising damp. These will also come out slowly with time, making the wall unsightly and reinstatement of finishes impossible. Reinstatement before the salts have completely come out will increase the risk of any new wall finishes debonding.
