FREI is a collective design and creative studio. Our passion is to work alongside forward thinking organizations to develop digital footprint, strengthen the brand and capture exceptional stories into fascinating film.
FREI, a basic everyday German word that means ‘free’. That’s exactly what Abdulla and Ameel had in mind to make their way into the creative space back in 2015. They began operations from TwoFour54 in Abu Dhabi and started to work with young entrepreneurs offering their consultation services for free.
FREI, in a deeper sense meant freelance and that was the company’s strategy to cut the curve and quickly generate the talent pools required to service the business. In addition, FREI has also established associate partnerships across various portfolios to cater various demands from their diverse clientele.
The root verb meaning of the word, FREI is freedom and that was the vision which drove the brand to becoming an independent creative design studio.
Our three stripes in our logo resemble the uniques pillars Digital, Brand and Film which makes us a very versatile collaborator. It also signifies the three phases that helped in creating our brand that is so deeply rooted in itself.
