Founded in 1980, Freisenbruch is proud to have developed into Bermuda’s largest local insurance intermediary offering a range of insurance products.
In June, 2002, our organization entered into an exciting new phase of its development with the introduction of ACE as a partner and the resultant establishment of Bermuda’s newest local insurer, Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Limited (“FMIL”). Chubb, formerly known as ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd. (ACE Bermuda), a subsidiary of ACE Limited, acquired a 40% equity interest in both Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Services Ltd (“FMIS”) and FMIL.
In October 2005, we were pleased to enter into a business relationship with Butterfield Bank, providing their clients with access to our quality products and services. We believe the combination of our insurance expertise along with the strength of our business partners creates a significant advantage for our clients.
