(FNM) con sede en Huelva (España), fue creada en 1999 con el objetivo de obtener variedades de fresa que respondieran a las distintas necesidades del sector para de este modo disminuir la dependencia tecnológica de programas de mejora foráneos. Creamos variedades de calidad para competir con la fresa Europea de temporada. A día de hoy, FNM se encuentra posicionada como la mayor entidad española dedicada a la mejora genética de fresa, con una producción aproximada de 200 millones de plantas.
FRESAS NUEVOS MATERIALES Inc. (FNM) based in Huelva (Spain), was created in 1999 with the aim of obtaining strawberry varieties that meet the diverse needs of the sector to thereby reduce the technological dependence on foreign breeding programs. We create quality varieties compiting with European quality seasonal strawberry. To this day, FNM is Spain´s biggest entity devoted to genetic improvement of strawberry, producing circa 200 million plants.
