If you want to save energy by isolating your home, you do not want the warmth to fly away when you want a little fresh air. You want to keep the warmth inside. The problem is that good isolation and closed windows also keep stale air inside.
By continuously measuring CO2 and humidity, ventilating when necessary and giving the warmth from the outgoing stale air back to the incoming fresh air, Fresh-r® keeps it fresh indoors. Healthy for you and your family, healthy for your home.
Unique to Fresh-r® is the copper heat exchanger. 90% of the heat of the indoor air is passed on over the very fine copper wire to the incoming fresh air. Thus, the heat is kept inside while the air is being refreshed. One unit ventilates up to 120 cubic meters of living space.
The Fresh-r® was awarded the Passive House component award for being the cheapest solution per cubic meter for energy retrofits.
