WHAT W E DO: We are involved in the business of growing, processing, packing & exporting GHERKINS - a savouried Pickle relished globally & sold in the markets of Europe, USA,Australia, Russia etc.. Gherkins are popular as a “pickled” product & consumed as a delicacy with other food items like vegetables, meat or salads. Our sourcing & production plants are strategically located amidst the states of Karnataka & Tamilnadu rightly placed within the Gherkin growing belt region The company has executed contracts to procure about 1500 MT of Gherkins in the coming season and all the gherkins will be packed in food grade drums as semi processed product. The size of the gherkins varies from grade to grade. The packaging is done according to the need of the customer requirement. QUALITY & FOOD SAFETY: Fresharas commitment to quality starts right from the choice of seeds. Stringent quality control measures are adopted during procurement and disbursement of seeds to the farmers. The farmland is first tested for suitable soil conditions. Periodic inspections are conducted on the fields for incidence of diseases, pests and weeds and remedial actions taken promptly. We also carry out farmer education programs for updating them on the latest farming techniques.
