Since 1982, Freshpack has been a company specializing in import, production and marketing of frozen food products. It was created in Boulogne sur mer by Jacques Dutertre and Freddy Paque in 1982.
Our story begins with the import of frozen seafood (shrimps, King crab, scallops, and other shellfishes mainly from sustainable sources).
Then our activity expanded in the mid-1990s by diversifying into ready meals and frozen snacks.
In 1998, the group expanded to Madagascar to set up a shrimp fishing subsidiary. Pechexport operates 8 freezer trawlers catching shrimps and tropical fish.
In 2015, the Freshpack group joined forces with Direct Ocean, an importer specializing in salmon and leader in France in its sector.
In 2020, Freshpack teams up with Le Garrec group to acquire COQ Marée, which operates 14 trawlers and transforms Normandie scallops.
Family business with a family character, Freshpack is recognized for its know-how and the authenticity of its products. Its strict specifications, and its historic relationships with its suppliers and customers makes it a trusted partner.
