Our association, founded in 1949, had only one goal at that time: to help the Berliner Philharmoniker find a new concert hall in post-war Berlin. Today - more than 70 years later - we can look back on a large number of other supported projects. For example, the purchase of valuable instruments for members of the Berliner Philharmoniker, the expansion of the technology for image and sound recordings in the Chamber Music Hall and the Philharmonie as well as the renovation of the great concert organ.
