Fridays For Future México

In the global context of the climate crisis, there is growing concern about the inaction of governments and international organizations. This is where Fridays For Future (FFF) appears, the youth movement that began in Sweden in August 2018, when 15-year-old Greta Thunberg declared a school strike for the climate in front of the Swedish Parliament. Fridays for Future Mexico is a platform led by children and youth from all over the country that works for climate justice and prioritizes the voice of the people, groups and areas most affected by the ecological crisis (also known by its acronym, MAPA). We are a non-partisan movement and we are not linked to any government.
