Fritz Underground Winery

Fritz Underground Winery has a unique picturesque setting on top of a hillside in the northernmost region of Dry Creek Valley Sonoma. This makes for stunning views and relaxing atmosphere. Fritz is a small family-owned winery that was founded 35 years ago. Using the hillside to our advantage, at Fritz Underground Winery all the wines are made using gravity flow, which is gentler on the grape juice and cost-efficient for the winery. Using gravity instead of pumps to move the juice through winemaking avoids some of the typical buffeting that can be damaging the wine. Our delicate Pinot Noir grapes especially benefit from the use of gravity flow.
