As excited to be on the water as in the bush, he channels his passion into designing clever solutions. During his career, he has worked across R&D, engineering, supply chain, and executive leadership—always focusing on empowering teams, improving processes, and driving sustainable growth. Paul Bailey – An experienced Industrial Designer & people leader, with a passion for Human-Centered Design and innovation. With over 20 years of experience in outdoor product design, Paul has more than 10 Best Awards from Designers Institute of NZ, including three Gold, and has served as a judge on the Best Awards. He also holds multiple awards from international boat shows. From 2008 to 2024 Paul was Head of Design at Navico, where he developed a strong engineering perspective and holistic design vision. Paul is skilled in Trend Analysis, Design Strategy, Product Design, and Design Management. He is also an expert fisherman, master pizzaiolo, and pit master.
