FROM MAGAZINE

FROM is a magazine about youth and culture. We target kids, their parents; and everyone else, really; Curious people who acknowledge where it all starts. Born and based in Copenhagen, raised by Scandinavian beliefs, interested in the whole world. We shall try humbly to tickle your fancy and disturb the conformity of how to see, raise and be with your offspring. We seek to chronicle the cornerstones of youth. The good and the bad, the hip and the 'unpretty', the deep and the superficial. Visually we invite photographers, artists and illustrators to let their inner child out, spread their imaginative soul across grateful and spacious pages. We plot the childhood of contemporary life in images, articles, essays and short stories, statements, letters from kids, social issues, cultural debates. In pictures and in words youth is both documented and aesthetisized. FROM digs to find 'if the kids are alright' consider us a testimony of ways to answer this. The printed magazine is biannual, syncing up with CPH Fashion Week in February and August. The web, frommagazine.com, is an ongoing communicative motor, filling you up with big and small on week by week.
