Frontside Capital Management L.P. is an investment partnership based in Stamford, Connecticut. Structured as an open-end investment fund, it is directed by its Founder and Managing Partner, Zachary Markovych. The fund is intended to preserve capital in market downturns, with the goal of delivering a risk-adjusted return that outcompetes the Standard & Poor's 500 broad market index. This is achieved with the use of various assets and active management. Our core, value-based investment philosophy aims to build a concentrated portfolio of public equities. Investments are often long-biased, made with a long time horizon, and range across global markets. Our central tenet is to purchase companies with asymmetric risk/reward profiles at significant discounts to their intrinsic value. We may also implement the use of option contracts as well as debt securities to provide income and eliminate market risk. The firm believes this strategy will outperform the markets and preserve capital across market cycles. Fundamental analysis serves as the basis for the investment thesis. This may include but is not limited to: analysis of the company’s financial statements as well as filings, construction of absolute valuations, understanding of the company’s durable advantage, and an evaluation of management.
