FROSIO

FROSIO is a member organization founded in 1986 by a united industry to meet a growing need for qualifying and certifying personnel at all levels of management, production, and inspection of work in corrosion protection and surface treatment. In 2012, FROSIO established a similar system for the training and certification of insulation inspectors. FROSIO works by defining quality requirements for surface treatment and insulation inspectors. FROSIO's approval and certification scheme has achieved high international recognition. A FROSIO-certified inspector is a specific requirement within various standards and specifications. Certification is a natural career development for anyone who has completed an apprenticeship or for those with extensive experience in surface or insulation work. FROSIO has been accredited according to ISO 17024 by Norsk Akkreditering since 2003
