Het Fruitpact is een bijzonder samenwerkingsverband tussen overheid, ondernemers en kennisorganisaties in Fruitdelta Rivierenland: de Betuwe, het Land van Maas en Waal en de Bommelerwaard. De fruitteelt is van oudsher sterk op deze plek verankerd en heeft veel aanverwante bedrijvigheid, onderwijs en toerisme aangetrokken. Daarmee heeft de sector zich nationaal en regionaal ontwikkeld tot een economisch fruitcluster van betekenis.
In het licht van (inter)nationale economische ontwikkelingen wil het Fruitpact de Nederlandse en internationale concurrentiepositie van het fruitcluster versterken en uitbouwen. Met haalbare doelstellingen en concrete projecten, die op korte en lange termijn tastbaar resultaat opleveren. Voor grote en kleine bedrijven, voor werkgevers, werknemers en inwoners.
