Formed in 1978 and headquartered in Norfolk Virginia, Frye Properties, Inc., is a full-service development and real estate management company with a focus on the investment, development, and management of income-producing properties in the southeast, primarily apartment complexes, including the purchase and turnaround of under-managed properties utilizing the efficient and full service nature of the management program. The company has acquired and rehabilitated more than 5,000 units in 22 multifamily complexes in the Southeast. The company’s current multi-family portfolio includes more than 3,400 housing units located in Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia, including a student housing development in Charlottesville, Virginia. Recent initiative have included the development of high-end single-family development tracts undertaken by Frye Building Corporation division.
