With the decommissioning of ARPANET in 1990 and NFSNET (National Science Foundation Network) in 1995, all restrictions on the commercial use of the Internet were effectively lifted. In January of 1995, FS3 Interactive was founded as a professional services company advancing the commercial use of the Internet by developing websites and Internet applications. The company was best known for pioneering the use of the "blueprint format" to help clients understand the emerging Internet channel, key digital marketing concepts, and structural components of Web site development and Internet Marketing. Key clients included: The Federal Reserve, Hotels.com (Hotel Reservations Network), AT&T, and Dr. Pepper.
