FSD Mech were established in 2012 to supplement FSD’s existing Electrical capabilities. FSD Mech offer a complete pipework supply and installation service to the Water, Petrochemical and Process Industries. FSD Mech’s service includes: Design Drawings Fabrication Installation Inspection Testing Painting Lining Coating Transport Skids – Fabrication & Assembly Having approximately 7,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Halesowen, West Midlands, FSD Mech can fabricate carbon steel pipework with various finishes (such as fusion bonded epoxy, glass flake and galvanized) and stainless steel pipework both schedule and thin wall. We can carry out ‘in house’ design and detail design, working from client P&ID’s /arrangement / routing drawings. We can also carry out site surveys and then design and fabricate pipework and supports to suit clients’ requirements. Another aspect to our company is that we produce light steelwork fabrications, brackets and supports in carbon steel and stainless steel to Client drawings and design. These fabrications can be supplied in self-colour or in the case of carbon steel with galvanized or epoxy coated finish. FSD Mech also offer an installation only service for ‘free issue’ pipework, plant and equipment, which includes preparing crane plans etc., using our own site staff and supervision working to client instructions. In addition we have a Supply Only fabrication service where we fabricate pipework, steelwork, supports, bracketry and so on, to client drawings.
