About Faculty of Economics and Management of Sfax
Located in the city of Sfax, Tunisia's second-largest urban center with half a million inhabitants, the Faculty of Economics and Management is attached to the University of Sfax For the academic year 2023-2024, the faculty welcomed: 3162 students in the Bachelor's program; 932 students in the Master's program (including 139 in accounting revision); 1161 students in the Doctoral program. Our students benefit from comprehensive training, a varied study path, and a knowledge base that is increasingly adapted to the needs of the job market. The teaching mission is carried out by a dynamic and motivated team of professors from five departments (Economics, Management, Computer Science, Quantitative Methods, Accounting), along with eight active research labs. These departments focus on the challenges faced by young students and doctoral candidates (professional integration, connecting with the reality of problems, guidance in teaching, etc.). The faculty, an environment for both teaching and research, hosts 8 units led by a team of teacher-researchers and professors working on promoting both theoretical and applied research, individually and collectively. The research covers a vast range of scientific knowledge and fosters numerous exchanges in partnership with other national and international universities. The Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management has multiple strengths to carry out its assigned missions and assert its national and international positioning: A welcoming space equipped with the necessary logistical resources; Rooms for seminars and practical sessions (TD - TP), allowing the implementation of modern teaching and communication methods; Functional pavilions housing a library (rich in computerized resources that are easily accessible and connected to inter and intranet networks); Reading rooms dedicated to doctoral and master’s students; A computing center equipped with computers and computer labs; A trading room; A teaching training room; A large t
