Currently the company operates 2 container yards in Charlotte providing empty lift capability, chassis stacking and approximately 36.5 acres of storage facility. The main CY and company headquarters at 4511 Keeter Dr, is located approximately 7 miles from the Norfolk Southern rail yard. NS is currently building a new facility within 1 mile of the Keeter location. The second CY yard is located at 360 Aqua Chem Dr., which is approximately 1 mile from the CSX rail. FSI also has a staff of 12 mechanics, who provide maintenance and repair services, at both CY yards, as well as 11 satellite sites. The company also provides storage, transloading and other services at its 28,500 sq ft. warehouse located at 520 E Hebron St. Five Star Transportation is an FSI subsidiary providing trucking services with approximately 50 owner / operators.
