FSKI

Despite Oulu's nordic location, Oulu Business School lacked the skiing & snowboarding culture in the fall of 2014. A group of enthusiastic students decided to start an organization to create and cherish this culture. Founded in 2014, FSKI has definitely found it's crowd from Oulu's business students and gathered a community around the appreciation of a fine sport. Starting and running an organization as a passion project besides studies has demanded a lot of dedication from the board members. Event planning & management, accounting, pr and (guerrilla) marketing have been handled in-house, with a DIY-spirit. However, creating the FSKI culture would not have been possible without the enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders of Oulu Business School, and the companies/organizations that have sponsored FSKI during the years. FSKI has organized ski/snowboard trips and events around them in Northern Finland, Austria and Sweden. The FSKI legacy is build to last, as new members are selected to join the board every year.
