The Fresno State College of Social Sciences offers 3,200 undergraduate and graduate students a broad and exciting range of majors, minors, and certificates that promote understanding of historical, political, social, and cultural issues through more than 30 undergraduate and master's degrees. The College also provides general education coursework to nearly every student on the Fresno State campus. Students can choose among 13 majors, 3 master’s programs, and 19 minors across the fields of Africana Studies, Anthropology, Chicano and Latin American Studies, Child and Family Science, Criminology, Geography and City & Regional Planning, History, Political Science, Sociology, Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies, American Indian Studies, Asian American Studies, Humanics, and Jewish Studies. The College also hosts Project Rebound. Our programs help students develop essential skills necessary to lead in and adapt to a constantly changing world.
