Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup

The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup is a monthly in-person gathering for the tech community, driving forth growth and business development of the innovation ecosystem in South Florida. Our guest include tech industry leaders, startups, venture capital investors and mentors to name a few. The event was founded by Julia Lucidi CEO/founder at Founder Tactics a company specialized in community building for the startup/tech industry. Our mission is to anchor Fort Lauderdale as the strategic link between the Miami-Dade and Palm Beach innovation communities. Fort Lauderdale has the power to attract global companies and talent, establishing an incredible tech community in our backyard. The meetup is the fastest growing tech community in South Florida. In our first year we hosted over 3,000 guests in attendance across the first 20 editions of the meetup, partnering with global brands such as Delta Air Lines, Tesla Motors, Vultr and Dell Technologies. We host 200+ people per event, working with world-class partners. According to the Global Startup Ecosystem Report by Startup Genome, the world’s leading tech ecosystems thrive in part due to the density of community building events, such as tech meetups. The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup exists with the goal of contributing to the advancement of our tech community through education and connectivity.
