About Fulbright Japan (Japan-United States Educational Commission)
Japan-U.S. Educational COMMISSION (JUSEC, Fulbright Japan) was established by the Governments of the United States and Japan to promote mutual understanding through the administration of educational exchange programs. JUSEC’s core program is the Fulbright Program, established and started in Japan from 1952. Over 9,700 Japanese and Americans have participated in this program and counting. JUSEC also operates EducationUSA services collaboratively with the U.S. Embassy, Tokyo to provide information on Japanese and U.S. higher education to the general public at no cost.
