FUM Racing

FUM Racing is a team participating in FSAE and Formula Student international competitions. Founded in 2014 by students of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, the students were really motivated to exceed their skills in designing and building a race car. Within weeks of its foundation, the Team decided to design a Formula car called the Caspian, and participate in the Class3 event of Formula SAE competition in Russia. The Caspian team won second place among 21 teams from around the world. The next goal of the team was to manufacture a competitive car and participate in Class1 of Formula SAE and Formula Student competitions. In 2018, the team’s next car which was called Surena, got the green light to participate in Formula SAE Italy competitions. The Surena team scored well in terms of cost and presentation among 47 other teams and also won the position of the best team among the first-year teams.
