About Functor AB

Functor was founded in 2011 and is a research spin-off from Uppsala University, University of Cambridge, Stockholm University and KTH/Royal institute of Technology. Based on vast international research we offer ground breaking tools and unleash gradually a new programming paradigm after much R&D. Testing is guided by our product for ANSI C, combining typerich programming for automatic static testing, new stronger static analysis and test case generation. A language, Scalor™, allows DSL's and even modelling languages to be embedded and it is logic but programmers remains programmers and can test in a more effective and integrated way - a language of languages. Functor AB embraces existing tools and does not position itself as a competitor to e.g. existing methods, existing powerful static analysis tools and certainly not software testing tools and consultancy. However, Functor AB is regarded to offer complementary technology that can have striking impact on several aspects of software development. Functor AB founds a new development method on its own technology with many advantages. It is derived from other state-of-the-art methods which do not have any near our exceptionally solid and safe foundation. Functor has successfully taken decades of research in mathematics and programming into a new approach to software development that is gradually unleashed for the very first time, to serve the future demands on productivity, software quality and computational efficiency.
