We work with schools and communities in South Africa and assist in positioning the schools as hubs for sustainable learning and community cohesion.
In communities where schools have lost their historic role as the centres of society, you will find that those schools are not in the best of shape. It is crucial that schools are positioned as hubs that nurture community cohesion and sustainable learning. This is our core mission to work with schools and communities to find and create their own collaborative culture to improve education standards and community value. Our first project is called Fundisa Teacher Training and Development Programme, which intends to empower teachers to be key catalysts of change in their schools.
By empowering teachers, we hope for overall cultural transformation and a high-performance value system will emerge. The project will have an impact on the internal and external stakeholders of the school ecosystem. The ultimate goal is centre the school as a strategic hub for sustainable learning and communal cohesion. It will do this by empowering key stakeholders that are important in the long term sustainability of a collaborative culture of excellence. It will also aim for Cultural Transformation of the schools. Organic development of an excellence outlook, interactions to reflect and champion collaborative principles.
