Created in 1995 in Barcelona, the Interarts Foundation fosters knowledge of the cultural sector and public, private and third sector initiatives in this field, as well as the contribution of culture in other areas of local, regional and international development.
As a cultural think tank and observatory of cultural policies, Interarts is particularly committed to combining research activity with international cooperation to encourage cultural dialogue and professional exchange.
To this end, Interarts has specialized in: advice to public institutions and private entrepreneurs from the cultural sector; fostering international cultural cooperation through networks, agents and civil society; and applied research in the field of cultural rights, the contribution of culture to economic development and social cohesion or cultural governance.
With experience in over 60 countries and with a team formed by highly qualified professionals with a vast experience, Interarts lives up to its slogan: “Sowing culture, reaping progress”.
