CETMAR is a public foundation committed to improving the marine environment, its resources, and all the sectors that depend on it, by promoting innovation and environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Created in 2001 through an initiative of the Galician Government (Xunta de Galicia) and Spain’s former Ministry of Science and Innovation, CETMAR was established to support the maritime-fisheries sector, research institutions, and public administrations in advancing a common path toward R&D&I.
