Fundación Why Not?

The Why Not Foundation was founded in 2010 with the aim of providing care and assistance to people suffering from mental illness and their families. The main objective of the foundation is the promotion of autonomy and social insertion of people with mental illness. The project was born with the aim of helping people with mental illness, but not in the health field, but in leisure and free time. We want to improve the quality of life of these people, and we believe that there are no public infrastructures aimed at improving their life through leisure and free time. After receiving medical discharge, people who suffer from a mental disorder have to face their day to day and have difficulties, so at Txoko Why Not we offer them different activities, as well as Radio Why Not. Currently, more than 200 users participate in the activities offered by the Why Not Foundation.
