Fungtional aims to make the future of the world's ever-growing meat industry more sustainable. The cultivation of soy as a feed supplement for pigs has far-reaching consequences for the climate of our planet. Fungtional offers a solution for this. We aim to grow mushrooms as a soy substitute in a vertical farming style, using up to 90% less water than the current farming standard. Through full automation of our facilities and both economically innovative, as well as ecologically favorable, substrate selection, we place ourselves as a competitive alternative to conventional feed supplements on the market.
